Happy New Year! It's 2012 and from what I can see: it's going to be a year of change. Now, I know everybody's all optimistic about making resolutions and blah blah blah but I really feel like this year is... mine. I'm going to achieve so much this year. Not because it's a new year, but because I finally have my mind made up on what it is I want.
And that includes being a better boyfriend.
I'm not gonna get all mushy. But I truly have a good man in my life. Rob makes me happy. I love what we have. He keeps me balanced. I keep him in line. We like it like that. So I'm trying my best to fulfill my role as his partner.
And I guess the same goes for him. I told him not to lack on his responsibilities at the club just to lay up with me. I'm going to be here at the end of the day so go take care of the business, babe. But, eh, we're working on it, you know??

Anyway: HOW THE HELL ARE YA'LL??
I've been getting hella emails about New Year's Advice. Here it is:
With the new year, old things must pass away.
Forget what you must.
Forgive whom you must.
And move on.
That's what I tell myself every year.

Sidenote: Woman are truly stronger than men. They can endure CHILDBIRTH. I just woke up with a crook in my neck, and I want to go to the Emergency Room... -_-

One of the good things about dating someone older than you is the benefit of being turned on to good music. Here's a few "Old School" songs on Rob's iPod that I'm in LOVE with right now.
Willie Hutch -- I Choose You
Misty Blue -- Dorothy Moore
Neither One of Us -- Gladys Knight and the Pips
All Night Long -- Mary Jane Girls
Love Come Down -- Evelyn Champagne King
